WILLIAM L. PETROS was born in Washington, D.C. on October 15, 1958.  He is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. 1980), Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma; and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. cum laude 1983).  Mr. Petros has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1983, the District of Columbia Bar since 1985 and is admitted in the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.  He is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association, and a founding member of The Florida Hellenic Bar Association.  Mr. Petros has devoted his entire career to civil trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts. In 2004, Florida Trend Magazine recognized Mr. Petros in its Legal Elite Edition as one of the top 1.6% lawyers in Florida.    More Information


JUSTIN B. ELEGANT was born on Miami Beach in 1970. He graduated from the University of Miami (B.A. 1993) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D. 1996). During a fourteen month internship in law school for the Honorable Shelby Highsmith, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, he completed extensive legal writing and obtained a unique insight into all aspects of the federal trial court. SERENA A. WITTER is originally from Orange County, California and graduated from Stanford University, with Departmental Honors, in 2002 with a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society, with concentrations in chemistry and mathematics. After graduating, Mrs. Witter worked as a Litigation Legal Assistant at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP in New York City. Mrs. Witter then worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Hunton & Williams, LLP in Miami. SALLY M. PRIETO-CHOMAT is originally from Tampa, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida (B.S. 2001) and St. Thomas University School of Law (J.D. cum laude 2005). She graduated law school with honors and received three Dean’s Achievement Awards. In her final year of law school, Ms. Prieto-Chomat worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she received immediate courtroom exposure. Ms. Prieto-Chomat became a member of the Florida Bar in 2005, and is also admitted to practice in the United States
